Privacy Policy

Jobs Intelligent ("we", "the service") is a job-search assistant at https://jobs.jahid.tech. An AI agent finds jobs that suit you, writes a version of your CV for each job, applies on your behalf and, if you connect Gmail, replies to recruiters who contact you. This policy explains what data we use, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password.
- Your CV and profile: the CV you upload and the details you enter in Settings, such as phone number, city, links, job preferences, expected salary and answers for application forms.
- Activity: jobs the agent checked, applications it made, the CVs and cover letters it wrote, and a log of what it did.
- Gmail data, only if you press "Connect Google": see the next section.
How we use your Gmail
When you connect Google, you allow two permissions:
- Send email (
gmail.send): to email job applications with your CV when a job asks for applications by email, and to send polite replies to recruiters who shortlist you or invite you to an interview. - Read email (
gmail.readonly): to look at emails from the last few days in your inbox and find replies from companies you applied to, so the agent knows when you were shortlisted, invited to an interview or turned down.
We do not store the content of your emails. For emails that look job-related we keep only the sender, subject, the kind of email (for example "shortlisted"), the company name and the text of any reply the agent sent. Every reply the agent sends also appears in your Gmail "Sent" folder.
Jobs Intelligent's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:
- We use Gmail data only to provide the features described above, which you can see in the app.
- We do not sell Gmail data, use it for advertising, or use it to build user profiles for anyone else.
- No person reads your emails, unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security or to comply with the law.
- We do not use Gmail data to train general AI models.
AI processing
To score jobs, write CVs and cover letters, fill in application forms and write replies, the agent sends the relevant text (your CV and profile, the job description, and for replies the recruiter's email) to Google's Gemini AI service. The AI provider processes it only to return an answer to us.
Who we share data with
- Employers you apply to: your tailored CV, cover letter and form answers are sent to the company when the agent applies.
- Service providers: our cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services) and the AI provider (Google Gemini), only to run the service.
We never sell your personal data.
How we protect your data
The site uses HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. The token that lets the agent use your Gmail is encrypted, and is never shown in the app or sent to your browser.
Your choices
- Disconnect Gmail any time in Settings, or at myaccount.google.com/permissions. The agent then stops sending and reading email.
- Switch the agent off in Settings to stop all applications.
- Delete your account in Settings. This permanently deletes your profile, CVs, applications and history, and removes our access to your Gmail.
Keeping data
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account it is removed from the live system straight away, and from backups within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. For important changes we will tell you in the app.
